Collective Learning:

A key element in the transition from hunting and gathering to agriculture was that people began to live in larger, more permanent communities. The larger population resulted in more innovation and sharing of knowledge than had been possible for small, mobile, hunter gatherer bands. This synergy of knowledge is known as collective learning.
